What about payers that don't accept electronic claims?
EClaims will print and submit on paper to those payers that don't accept electronic claims for you. We put your paper claims through the same edit and review process as the electronic claims. Paper claims are mailed within one business day.
Can I expect faster payment sending electronic claims?
Medicare is mandated to pay within 15 business days or begin adding interest. Most payers will pay electronic claims within 30 days, although there is no set rule.
What about patient privacy and security on the Internet?
EClaims uses 128 bit encryption to ensure that your data is protected. This is the same technology ATM machines use to process your banking transactions.
What software works best with EClaims?
Any software that can produce either a HCFA print image, ANSI 837 or an NSF file will work. Most current software will produce one of these files. We convert your claims to the HIPAA required format.
